Martin Fletcher Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision
Martin Fletcher, 48, from Plymouth, died instantly in a horrific three-vehicle crash at around 6.45am. The smash happened on Soper’s Hill, Tamerton Foliot, involving a yellow DAF rigid tanker, a silver Nissan Qashqai, and a black Mazda 6.
Family Heartbroken
Martin’s family paid tribute, saying: “Following a tragic incident on Friday 7 October 2022, we are devastated to announce the loss of Martin, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a wonderful person and has left a huge hole in all our lives.”
Police Investigate Cause – Road Reopens After Hours
Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team were called to the crash site and closed the road in both directions. After a thorough examination, the road was reopened around 8pm.
