Man Stabbed to Death in SE18 Street Attack
Police rushed to Sandy Hill Road, SE18, at 7.48am on Thursday, 21 October, after a man was found collapsed in the street.
London Ambulance Service attended but Emmanuel was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem revealed a single stab wound caused his death.
Police Hunt Group of Men Seen With Victim
The murder probe is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command. Emmanuel is believed to have been attacked by a group of men just hours before he was found.
“We are specifically appealing for anyone who was in Burridge Place or Sandy Hill Road from 11.40pm to 11.45pm on Wednesday, 20 October,” said DCI Leonard.
CCTV footage shows Emmanuel surrounded by a group of males. Officers want to identify them urgently.
CCTV and Dashcam Footage Vital to Investigation
DCI Leonard added: “Please check any doorbell or dashcam footage in case you have captured something useful. No piece of information is too small.”
