Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a tragic crash in Eastbourne claimed the life of a man in his 90s.
Fatal Crash Outside Langham Hotel Shocks Eastbourne
The incident happened at 5.50pm on Friday, 7 November, when a grey Volkswagen Polo slammed into the elderly pedestrian right outside the Langham Hotel on Royal Parade.
The victim, from Wadhurst, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital by paramedics. Tragically, he died four days later. Police have reached out to his family to offer their deepest condolences.
Driver Walks Away Unhurt as Police Probe Collision
The 33-year-old driver, a local Eastbourne resident, escaped without injury. Officers have launched a full investigation and urgently need witnesses to come forward.
