Tragic Crash Claims Couple in Waterlooville

An elderly couple have died in a horror smash on Hambledon Road, Waterlooville. Henry Durow, 89, and his wife Shirley, 84, both from Greenfield Rise, lost their lives following a two-vehicle collision on July 28.

Heartbreaking Family Tribute

Henry was driving a Toyota Yaris when the crash happened. He was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital but sadly died shortly after. Shirley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Their devastated family said: “We are devastated at the loss of our dear Mum and Dad. They were loving parents, grandparents and great grandparents and they thought the world of their family. They will be sadly missed by all.”

Other Driver Slightly Hurt

The driver of the other car involved, a 36-year-old Waterlooville man in a Mitsubishi, suffered minor injuries. Police are still probing the crash to establish exactly what happened.
