Two Men Arrested After Daring Getaway Attempts
The first suspect, a 31-year-old local man, was nabbed the same day on suspicion of car theft and cannabis possession. He’s now out on bail while the investigation heats up.
But the drama wasn’t over. The very next day, Sunday 12 October, police spotted the stolen car again — this time parked on Whiting Crescent, Faversham.
A fresh chase ended in a collision that left another driver with minor injuries. The pursuit finally concluded in Preston Grove, where officers arrested a 25-year-old local man.
He’s hit with multiple charges, including theft, dangerous driving, failure to stop, and refusing to provide a specimen. The younger man remains in custody as Kent Police crack down on the case.
