Two Men Hospitalised After Brutal Brawl in West London Park

Two men were rushed to hospital following a violent clash at Yiewsley Recreation Ground in West Drayton this afternoon.

Ferocious Fight Sparks Emergency Response

Emergency services swarmed the scene just after 2pm on Wednesday, April 23, responding to reports of an assault. Police quickly cordoned off sections of Albert Road and Falling Lane, which remained closed well into the evening as investigations got underway.

Victims Suffer Serious But Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

  • A man in his 30s was found with wounds to his leg and abdomen and taken to hospital. Authorities confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
  • A 34-year-old man sustained facial injuries and was also hospitalised. His condition has not yet been revealed.

Arrest Made as Police Say No Wider Threat

The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of affray and grievous bodily harm (GBH). Officers believe the victims knew each other, and insist there is no ongoing danger to the public.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 2.03pm to reports of an assault on Albert Road, Yiewsley. We dispatched an ambulance crew, two paramedics in fast response cars, and an incident response officer. One patient was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.”

Police Boost Patrols and Appeal for Witnesses

Local officers will increase patrols around the area in the coming days to reassure residents and collect more information.
