Emergency services rushed to Mile End Road near White Horse Lane after a road traffic collision left two people injured on Sunday 18 May 2025 at around 5pm.
The response was swift and major, with London Ambulance Service deploying ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, an incident response officer, and even the city’s air ambulance.

“We were called on Sunday 18 May at 5.02pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Mile End Road, E1. We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance. We treated two patients at the scene before taking them to hospital.”
Conditions remain unknown as police investigate
The conditions of both injured individuals remain unclear. The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further information but no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
