BMW Chase Ends in Smash on Rochdale Road East
A high-speed BMW failed to stop for police on Rochdale Road East, Heywood, at around 11.45pm on Sunday, 20 March 2022. A brief pursuit ended when the car crashed into a building.
Two Men Seriously Injured
Two men, aged 27 and 18, were treated at the scene by officers and paramedics before being rushed to hospital. Both remain in a serious condition.
Investigation Underway
The incident is now with the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
