Police Officers Hurt in Crash with Car in Erith
Collision Rocks Belmont Road
Two police officers are in hospital after their marked police car smashed into a vehicle on Belmont Road, Erith. The crash happened just after 4pm on Tuesday, 3 August.
Officers and Civilians Treated at Scene
A male and female officer were treated on the spot by emergency teams, including London 1 Brigade, before being rushed to hospital. The two people in the other car also received on-scene treatment and were taken to hospital shortly after.
Investigation Underway
Thankfully, none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. The Met Police traffic command has launched a full investigation and sealed off the scene to find out what caused the smash-up.
