Two 16-Year-Old Boys Fatally Stabbed in London Knife Attacks

Tragedy struck in southeast London on Saturday evening as two teenage boys were found with fatal stab wounds at separate locations just a mile apart.

Stabbings in Abbey Wood and Thamesmead

At around 5.10pm on Saturday, 26 November, police were called to Sewell Road, Abbey Wood, and Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead. Officers, supported by the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, discovered two 16-year-old males seriously injured by stabbing.

Despite desperate attempts to save them, both boys were pronounced dead later that evening.

Ongoing Investigation and Police Action

Crime scenes remain active at both sites as detectives launch a probe into the deadly attacks. The proximity of the incidents has led officers to urgently search for any connection between the two cases.

Specialist officers are providing support to the victims’ families during this heartbreaking time.

A Section 60 order is now in place until 8am Sunday, granting police extended stop and search powers across the area.
