Chaos in Peacehaven: Man Seriously Injured in Late-Night Attack
Just before 1am this morning, Sussex Police were scrambled to a disturbance at a home on Southview Road in Central Peacehaven.
Mass Police Response and Dramatic Air Ambulance Landing
Armed with a large police presence, officers rushed to the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS) Air Ambulance. The helicopter touched down on a nearby playing field, ready for an emergency evacuation.
Victim Hospitalised as Suspect Arrested
Police found a man suffering serious injuries and rushed him to hospital. Meanwhile, another man was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
