Teen Stabbed to Death in Lambeth Block of Flats
A teenage boy was fatally stabbed in Lambeth late Monday night, sparking a police investigation.
Horrific Scene in Oval Place
At around 11.45pm on 5 July, emergency services were called to Oval Place, SW8, after a resident found the 16-year-old bleeding at the top of a stairwell in a block of flats. First aid equipment was scattered across the floor as medics desperately attempted life-saving treatment, including emergency heart surgery, but the teenager tragically died at the scene.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Police and London Ambulance Service officers attended the scene. The boy’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. A full post-mortem will be carried out in due course.
There have been no arrests so far. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
