Chilling CCTV Captures Stranger Grabbing Woman from Behind in Broad Daylight
Attack Caught on Camera Near Salisbury Sea Cadets
CCTV footage shows a woman walking along a path leading to Churchill Gardens, close to the Salisbury Sea Cadets building, when she was suddenly grabbed from behind by a man she didn’t know. The shocking incident happened at around 2.30pm on Sunday, 27 October.
Suspect Description Released
- White male
- Middle-aged
- Medium build
- Light grey hair
- Wearing a smart black coat, grey or dark trousers, and smart shoes
Police Appeal for Help
PC Lou Poole from Wiltshire Police said: “This is a really concerning incident that took place in a busy public area during the middle of the day.”
She urged the public to watch the footage carefully and help identify the attacker. Dash cam footage from the area on the day might provide vital clues.
“Please share this video widely, especially with those who don’t use social media,” PC Poole added, “so as many people as possible can see it and help.”
Witnesses Come Forward
The victim has given consent for the video to be shared. A cyclist who witnessed the assault has been identified and is helping police with their enquiries.
