Tragedy on A27: Woman Dies in Evening Crash
A 36-year-old woman from Hove has died following a serious incident on the A27 yesterday evening.

The crash happened around 5pm on Thursday, forcing the closure of the A27 in both directions between Devil’s Dyke and Hangleton interchanges. The shutdown sparked major delays during the busy rush hour.
Sussex Police thanked the public for their patience as emergency teams worked at the scene.

Officers confirmed the woman’s family have been informed and are receiving support from trained officers. Police said there are no suspicious circumstances and the case is now with the coroner.
