Met Police have sealed off Lordship Lane in South East London after a vicious fight left a woman critically injured. The shocking stabbing took place late Friday night, sparking a major emergency response.

Officers and paramedics were called at around 10:09pm following reports of a stabbing at a residential property on Lordship Lane, near Barry Road. The victim, a 36-year-old woman, was found with serious stab wounds and rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Traffic Chaos as Roads and Bus Routes Closed
- Lordship Lane is closed both ways at Barry Road junction.
- London Ambulance Service is on scene managing the emergency.
- Bus routes 12, 40, 176, 185, and 197 have been affected.
- Route 12 now runs only up to Peckham Rye and East Dulwich.

Suspect Arrested in Attempted Murder Probe
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody at a south London police station. Police have set up a crime scene and investigations continue.
