Deliveroo App Crash Sparks Chaos Across UK!

Nationwide App and Website Outage Hits Customers

Deliveroo customers across the UK were left hungry and frustrated this afternoon after the food delivery giant’s app and website went down. Trouble began at around 11am on October 12, with reports flooding in via DownDetector.

A whopping 80% of the problems came from the app itself, while 18% hit the website. Around 2% of users faced login headaches. Major cities including London, Birmingham and Manchester felt the brunt of the outage.

Social Media Erupts with Complaints

Fed-up customers took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) demanding answers. One frustrated user tweeted: “@Deliveroo I ordered food before the app went down. The restaurant said the food had been made but no delivery. Am I going to receive a refund for this?”

Others couldn’t even track their meals. Another said, “Deliveroo app going down after I’ve ordered a nice chai tea latte is exactly what I need on a Saturday afternoon.”

Deliveroo Promises Fix as Users Wait

Deliveroo responded on X with a brief update: “We’re currently experiencing an issue with our app and website, we’re working hard to get back up and running ASAP. Thank you for your patience.”

The company has yet to confirm when normal service will resume, leaving customers hoping for a swift fix.
