Rapper Takayo Stabbed to Death Under Ladbroke Grove Flyover
Tragedy struck on Monday, 29 August when 21-year-old rapper Takayo was fatally stabbed near Ladbroke Grove, under the Westway flyover. Despite efforts, Takayo died in hospital from a wound to his femoral artery.
Police Hunt Key Suspect After Four Arrests
Officers have already arrested four people in connection with the murder. But they are urgently trying to identify another male suspect captured on CCTV. Detective Inspector Laura Semple said:
“We are making good progress with our investigation into Takayo’s tragic death which has naturally left his family devastated. However, we really need the public’s help to tell us who this person is in the CCTV image we have issued today. Anyone with information – no matter how small – should come forward immediately.”
Family Plea: Help Find Takayo’s Killer
Takayo, who lived in Bristol, was enjoying the carnival with his sister and friends before the attack. His family released a heart-breaking statement:
“Takayo’s death has left a painful ache for all who loved him and still miss him. He was so looking forward to being a dad and would have made a fabulous one, coming from a strong family unit. His son was born on 9 November, a bittersweet moment for us all.
“Our family, including his girlfriend, continue to struggle daily without him. We beg the public to provide any info they may have—videos or photos from Ladbroke Grove on 29 August. Please help us bring Takayo’s killers to justice and give us some comfort knowing he didn’t die in vain.”
