Serious Crash Blocks Road in St Helens – Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Emergency services scrambled to a major crash on Carpenters Road in St Helens late Friday night. The collision, involving two vehicles, caused chaos as the road was shut both ways.
Crash Near Oasis Causes Full Road Closure
Police and fire crews were called shortly before 10pm to the bend near Oasis. Hampshire Constabulary quickly set up hard road closures, bringing traffic to a standstill.
Firefighters Rescue Trapped Woman
Two fire engines from Ryde rushed to the scene. Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service freed one female driver trapped inside a vehicle. She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport.
