A 21-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences after an armed incident on Shenley Avenue, Ruislip Manor, on Friday, November 8. Metropolitan Police were called to the scene following reports of a male suspect armed with a gun.
Specialist officers arrived promptly, but members of the public had already managed to detain the suspect. Police subsequently arrested the man at the scene.
The suspect, identified as a 21-year-old from Uxbridge, has now been charged with possession of an imitation firearm, possession of a knife, and assault. The Metropolitan Police commended the public’s swift actions and confirmed that the individual would face legal proceedings for the charges.
