Armed Police Shoot Suspect in Streatham Hill Chase
On Monday night, specialist firearms officers chased a suspect vehicle through Lambeth. The pursuit ended just before 10pm in Kirkstall Gardens, Streatham Hill, when police made tactical contact and brought the car to a stop.
Gun Fired During Arrest
During the operation, a police officer discharged their firearm. A man in his 30s, who was inside the suspect vehicle, suffered a gunshot wound.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene

- Officers gave first aid before paramedics arrived.
- The injured man was rushed to hospital and remains under medical care.
Police have set up a large blue tent at the scene, with armed response vehicles surrounding the area. Road closures and cordons are in place, but no other injuries have been reported.
