Teen Stabbed in Bloody Ilford Street Brawl
A horrific stabbing rocked Ilford in the early hours of Sunday morning as a 17-year-old was left fighting for his life. Police swarmed Hamilton Road just after 2.20am following reports of a violent fight near the junction with Ilford Lane.
Road Shut and Crime Scene Lockdown
Hamilton Road was sealed off in both directions, with six police vehicles and London Ambulance paramedics flooding the scene. An incident manager was seen using a torch to aid life-saving treatment on the collapsed victim, who had been stabbed multiple times. Locals say the situation “did not look good” as emergency crews worked tirelessly to save him.
Bus services 169 and EL1 were forced to reroute, leaving passengers stranded due to the road closures.
Met Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a stabbing in Ilford.”
“Police were called at around 2am on Sunday, 4 December, to reports of a fight near the junction of Ilford Lane, St Luke’s Avenue, and Wingate Road. A 17-year-old male was taken to hospital with stab injuries. We await an update on his condition.”
Forensic teams remain at the scene while cordons are kept in place. No arrests have been made so far.
