Teen Arrested After Fatal Kidbrooke Stabbing
Police have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder following a deadly stabbing in Kidbrooke, south-east London.
Arrest Made in Lambeth
The suspect was detained at an address in Lambeth on the evening of Sunday, 14 July. He remains in custody at a south London police station as investigations continue.
Victim Found with Multiple Stab Wounds
Officers were called to Tellson Avenue, SE18, around 2.40pm on Monday, 10 July after reports of a stabbing. A 22-year-old man was discovered with several stab wounds in an alleyway on Tellson Avenue.
Despite frantic efforts by paramedics, he was pronounced dead at 8.35pm. His next of kin have been informed.
Investigation Underway
A post-mortem examination is planned to confirm the exact cause of death. Police are treating the incident as murder and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
