Portsmouth City Council Censors Shocking Cycle Safety Video
The video Portsmouth City Council didn’t want you to see was REFUSED a showing on the Guildhall big screen outside their civic offices during the Portsmouth Cycle Forum rally on June 8.
Safety Concerns Ignored
Hundreds gathered to demand urgent action on dangerous cycle routes, especially the deadly Eastern Road near the Harvester lights. This is where Tim Atkins, brother of campaigner Rob Ulitski, was tragically killed on June 2, 2017.
Rob’s video, backed by Portsmouth Cycle Forum statistics, was created to expose the risks at this notorious spot. But the council shut it down, refusing to share the harrowing truth with the public.
Still No Action, Another Life at Risk
Years on, Portsmouth’s cycle safety remains dangerously neglected. “It’s time to get the facts out before another life is lost — one that could’ve been saved, like Tim’s,” warns Rob.
The message from local cyclists and residents is clear: “Our lives matter! Portsmouth City Council — it’s time to listen and act!”
