Cash Haul Sparks Major Probe
Police launched a fresh investigation after discovering around £60,000 in cash inside a car at the Channel Tunnel. The cash was mostly hidden in a box of biscuits during a vehicle search in Folkestone at 1.30pm on Monday, 14 September 2020.
Two Londoners Arrested Over Money Laundering
A 46-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, both from London, were arrested on suspicion of money laundering. They have now been released on bail until 12 October as police continue their enquiries.
