Detectives hunt witnesses following fatal collision in north London.

Tragic Crash on Longmore Avenue

Police were called at 9.35pm on Monday, 29 June, after a car slammed into two pedestrians on Longmore Avenue, Barnet. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, including the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance, and London Fire Brigade.

Young Teen Loses Life, Second Girl Injured

A 13-year-old girl was rushed to a north London hospital but tragically died just before 11pm. Her family has been informed. A 15-year-old girl involved was unharmed but left shaken by the ordeal.

Driver Arrested and Charged

The 41-year-old female driver stayed at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has since been charged and is in police custody as detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command carry out their investigation.
