Chased Down and Caught
Negji was quickly cornered and searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. Things got worse when police brought in PD Socks, a specialist drug-sniffing dog.
Class A Crackdown
PD Socks sniffed out 15 bags of Class A drugs hidden inside a sock tucked under the steering wheel. Officers searched his silver Renault Laguna and found the stash packed tight.
Double Trouble in Court
Negji was hit with two charges: possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, and driving without insurance. He pleaded guilty at Northampton Crown Court and was sentenced at the start of this month to two years and four months behind bars.
