Monster Jason Robson Jailed for Child Abuse and Sexual Offences
Jason Robson has been locked up for eight years after a decade of horrific abuse against a child. Between 2007 and 2018, the 47-year-old subjected the victim to a brutal catalogue of crimes, including holding a knife to their throat, forcing their head into a toilet, and pushing them down the stairs.
Brutal Assaults and Sexual Crimes Exposed
Robson didn’t stop at physical abuse. He also committed multiple sexual offences and repeatedly punched and kicked the child. The victim bravely reported the horrors to Kent Police in June 2020, leading to Robson’s swift arrest and charges.
Justice Served at Canterbury Crown Court
Despite denying all allegations, Robson was found guilty of child cruelty and five child sex offences at Canterbury Crown Court. On 18 July 2023, the court sentenced him to a hefty eight-year prison term.
“The victim in this case showed tremendous courage in coming forward to report the awful offences,” said Detective Constable Chris Radley. “They supported the investigation throughout, even as Robson refused to accept responsibility and dragged them through a tough Crown Court trial.
“Robson’s shocking, prolonged abuse will affect the victim for life. He fully deserves the lengthy prison sentence he must now serve.”
