Drug Dealer Caught Using ‘Flipz Line’ to Peddle Heroin and Crack in Sevenoaks
Kent Police Crack Down on County Lines Operation
Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team uncovered a wide-reaching drug operation after tracing marketing texts sent to users in Sevenoaks from a phone dubbed the ‘Flipz line’ between April and May 2021.
Dealer Spotted Hiring Cars to Dodge the Law
Bradley Wynter, 32, of Forest Hill, Greater London, owned the ‘Flipz line’ phone. He regularly hired cars to travel from London to Sevenoaks, pushing heroin and crack cocaine on the streets.
Arrest and Seizure Lead to Jail Time
Police raided Wynter’s home on 12 May 2021, seizing the incriminating phone plus nearly five and a half grams of crack and heroin worth around £500. Wynter was charged with multiple drug offences, including supply and possession with intent.
Dealer Gets 4 Years and 4 Months Behind Bars
After pleading guilty at Maidstone Crown Court, Wynter was jailed for four years and four months on 17 June.
“He thought he could stay hidden using an unregistered phone and third-party hire cars,” said PC Samantha Smith. “He was overconfident, and our investigation tracked him down to a London address. He’s been profiting from some of the most vulnerable in our community, and prison is the right punishment.”
