Terrifying Chase and Attack Outside Romney Place
A woman was chased and assaulted by four men who demanded her watch on the afternoon of Friday 5 April 2024. The victim told police the incident happened between 1.30pm and 2.10pm near Romney Place. When she refused to hand over her watch, the gang pursued her down the road and attacked her. Luckily, the watch was not stolen, but she suffered bruising to her face.
Police Release E-Fit After CCTV Review
After reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out house-to-house enquiries, detectives have created an e-fit of a man they want to identify in connection with the assault. They hope this will lead to a breakthrough in the investigation.
