Driver Flouts Red Lights, Sparks High-Speed Pursuit
In the early hours of Friday, January 20, 2023, cops spotted a motorist blatantly running two red lights on Dock Road, Chatham. When officers signalled for him to stop, the driver hit the gas instead, sparking a daring chase.

Multiple Charges for Driver and Passenger
The 30-year-old East Sussex man behind the wheel was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving under the influence of alcohol. A passenger was also detained over suspected vehicle theft.
Driver Released on Bail, Passenger Walks Free
Following the dramatic incident, the driver has been released on bail until April 18 as investigations continue. The passenger faces no further action.
