Operation Potassium: Taking No Prisoners
Under Operation Potassium, the police are using a mix of engagement and enforcement to tackle antisocial behaviour. Offenders face Section 35 dispersal notices to stop them from causing more chaos. Young troublemakers are dealt with through voluntary attendance processes, and in some cases, parents are getting letters as a warning.
- Youths caught causing problems on trams have been handed over to Nottingham Express Transit (NET) for action.

“Preventing and reducing antisocial behaviour remains a key priority for us,” said Inspector Mike Ebbins, Broxtowe District Commander. “We work closely with partners including NET and Broxtowe Borough Council to tackle these issues day in, day out.”
