Charged Over Longroyd Crescent Shooting

Junior Coley, 37, and Louise Garland, 44, both with no fixed address, have been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The pair also face charges for possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence after a gunshot damaged a house on Longroyd Crescent on Tuesday, November 3.

In Custody After Leeds Magistrates Court Appearance

Coley and Garland appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning (Nov 23) and were remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing.

West Yorkshire Police Crack Down

The charges come after a probe by West Yorkshire Police’s Firearms Investigation and Prevent Team. Detectives examined a scene near tents on Wellington Street, under the A58 flyover, on Saturday as part of their inquiry.
