Boat Seized as Police Target Smuggling Ring
Myrtaj was caught yesterday morning while officers investigated a gang suspected of ferrying migrants from Belgium to Britain in small boats. Authorities also seized a vessel in Brightlingsea, Essex, believed linked to the smuggling operation.
Five Men Facing Court Over Smuggling Spree
- Myrtaj appeared today before Nottingham magistrates.
- Four other suspects will face Nottingham Crown Court on March 29.
- All are accused of involvement in organising the illegal crossings.
