Shanklin Man Faces Multiple Assault Charges Including Attack on Bus Passenger
Bruno Borges, 34, from Queens Road, Shanklin, has been hit with a series of serious charges over violent incidents earlier this year.
Assault on Bus Passenger Leaves Woman with Chipped Tooth
On June 9, Borges allegedly attacked a woman he knew while on a bus heading to East Cowes. The victim suffered a chipped tooth in the brutal assault.
Series of May 12 Attacks
- Assault by beating of a woman at a Queens Road address
- Criminal damage to a mobile phone
- Four counts of assaulting emergency workers, including police officers, during the same incident
Legal Proceedings Underway
Borges was remanded in custody over the weekend and was due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on June 11.
He was further remanded and is set to face Isle of Wight Crown Court on July 11.
