Norman Bullock, 65, from Grays, lost his life in a horrific smash on the A128 Brentwood Road. The horror unfolded around 4am on 5 October when Norman’s red Peugeot 308 collided with a black BMW X5.

BMW Driver Arrested and Charged with Multiple Offences

The BMW’s driver, 21-year-old Edvinas Pupkis from Devonshire Road, Ilford, was swiftly arrested. He now faces a barrage of charges including causing death by careless driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance, failing to stop, and failing to report the crash.

Guilty Plea and Upcoming Sentencing

Pupkis pleaded guilty to all charges at Basildon Crown Court on Friday 11 December. The young driver is set for sentencing on 22 December, where the court will decide his punishment for this tragic crash.
