Loaded Gun Seized in Harrow – Man Charged
A 21-year-old man has been charged after police from the Met’s Violent Crime Taskforce recovered a loaded firearm in Harrow.
Abdulahi Yusuf Faces Serious Firearm Charges
Abdulahi Yusuf, of Goodwill Drive, Harrow, was charged on Friday, 21 August with:
- Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
- Possession of ammunition without a certificate
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
He is due to appear via video link at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 22 August.
Three Others Arrested and Released on Bail
Three other men, also aged 21, were arrested during the police stop but have since been bailed pending further investigations. They are expected to return to court in mid-September.
Gun Recovered in Late-Night Stop
The firearm was discovered after officers from the Violent Crime Taskforce stopped a vehicle at around 9.30pm on Thursday, 20 August in Rayners Lane, Harrow.
The Met continues to crack down on violent crime and illegal weapons in the capital.
