Man Charged Over Brutal Sittingbourne Knife Attack

A man has been charged and locked up following a stabbing in Sittingbourne.

Victim Hospitalised But Released

On the evening of Thursday, August 18, Kent Police rushed to a disturbance at a Romney Court home. A man in his 50s was found with a stab wound. The victim, reportedly assaulted by someone he knew, was quickly taken to a London hospital. Thankfully, he has since been released.

Stephen Curry Arrested and Charged

Stephen Curry, 28, from Knightsfield Road, Sittingbourne, was arrested the next day. He faces charges of intent to wound and possession of a knife in public. Curry appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on August 22 and was remanded in custody. His next court date is September 19 at Maidstone Crown Court.
