Man Charged Over Fatal Shooting of Grineo Daka
A man has been arrested and charged for the deadly shooting of Grineo Daka in east London.
Jeton Krasniqi Held for Murder and Firearm Offences
Jeton Krasniqi, 26, from Kershaw Road, Barking and Dagenham, was arrested on Monday, 25 May. He faces charges of murder, possession of a firearm, and wounding with intent related to another victim.
Krasniqi was remanded in custody and is due in court at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 26 May.
Grineo Daka Fatally Shot in 2019
Grineo Daka, 27, from Stratford, was gunned down in the early hours of Sunday, 7 July 2019 on Lea Bridge Road, E10. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as a single gunshot wound.
Police Still Hunting Another Suspect
Authorities continue their search for a second man linked to Grineo’s murder.
