Man Charged with Murder of 23-Year-Old in Dagenham
A man has been charged with murder after 23-year-old Haseeb Bhatti was found dead at a Dagenham scene.
Arrest Made in Ashford
Police received a 999 call and rushed to the scene, where Mr Bhatti was pronounced dead. Following a swift investigation, officers arrested a suspect in Ashford, Kent, on 24 April.
Remanded in Custody
The suspect was charged with murder on the morning of 26 April and is now remanded in custody. He is set to appear at the Old Bailey on 30 April.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Met Police’s Specialist Crime unit, backed by local officers, continue their investigation. They urge anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to call 101, quoting reference 621/20APR.
