Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Stabbing on Route 50 Bus

Knife Attack on Busy London Bus

Monior Saleh, 35, of Verran Road, SW12, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife. The shocking stabbing happened aboard a Route 50 bus in Streatham on 21 December.

Swift Police Response

Officers rushed to Streatham High Road at 2:25pm after reports of a stabbing onboard the bus. They found a man in his 50s with stab wounds. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Suspect Remanded in Custody

Saleh was charged on Thursday, 22 December, and is remanded in custody ahead of his court appearance at South 1 Magistrates’ Court on 23 December.
