‘T-Trapz’ Found Guilty of Murder in North London Knife Attack

Timothy Adeoye, 20, aka T-Trapz, was convicted of murdering Donavan Allen at a block of apartments in Enfield, north London. The stabbing happened on February 7 last year when Adeoye plunged a large kitchen knife into 18-year-old Allen’s chest, killing him instantly.

CCTV and Knife Evidence Seal Case

Prosecutor Alan Gardner KC revealed Adeoye travelled with a knife from Barking to Enfield on the day of the attack. CCTV footage captured Adeoye wearing a distinctive skull mask at Barking Station just after 2.30pm. Police reviewed hundreds of hours of video and found Adeoye was the only person wearing the threatening mask that afternoon.

Adeoye was seen wandering Enfield, searching for Allen’s friend, gathering information from local teens while sporting the “scary” skull mask. He then threatened residents at a suspected drug house, saying he would “shank up” anyone inside.

Unprovoked Assault Ends in Tragedy

When Allen and his friend arrived, Adeoye grabbed a larger kitchen knife and confronted them. A neighbour briefly intervened, but Adeoye followed and stabbed Allen in the chest. Prosecutor Gardner said, “It was an unprovoked and motiveless attack.” He noted any dispute appeared to be between Adeoye and Allen’s companion, likely over cannabis supply issues, adding, “there is no proof he had a problem with Donavan Allen.”

Allen collapsed in a stairwell and died shortly after. His friend handed his phone to a neighbour, who dialled 999. In the background, the friend identified the attacker, saying, “It’s T-Trapz. T-Trapz is seeking me because I screwed someone.”

Flight and Forensic Breakthrough

After the stabbing, Adeoye fled the scene, discarding the murder knife into a drain near the flats. Police recovered the knife the next day and DNA tests linked both the victim and defendant.

Adeoye also sent a threatening text to Allen’s friend warning, “Better not rat.” He then ran from London to bristol/" title="Bristol" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bristol and Wiltshire, where he was caught three days later.

Awaiting Sentence

Following the guilty verdicts for murder, possession of a weapon, and threatening with a blade, Adeoye was remanded in custody. The judge will decide his sentence in due course.

As Prosecutor Gardner summed up: “This case is about a young man losing his life due to the actions of this defendant.”
