Hounslow Man Caught with Loaded Gun and 122 Packs of Class A Drugs
Sahedul Haque, 20, from North Drive, Hounslow, has been jailed for six years and slapped with a three-year extended licence after he was busted with a loaded revolver and a haul of crack cocaine and heroin.

On the evening of Sunday, 23 February, police on patrol along the A4 Great West Road flagged down a mini-cab. Before it fully stopped, Haque, a passenger, bolted. But he didn’t get far. Officers leapt out and caught him red-handed.

Tests confirmed the gun was a loaded revolver, and messages on Haque’s phone revealed plans to supply drugs. This was a serious breach—he was banned for life from owning a firearm following a 2017 jail term for possession.

“This routine traffic stop led to the recovery of 122 wraps of Class A drugs and a loaded firearm, which could have been used to seriously injure or even kill someone,” said Detective Constable Pearce. “Drugs and organised crime fuel much of the violence on London’s streets. This seizure shows the deadly link between them. We will keep hitting hard those who peddle drugs and trigger violent acts.”
Haque pleaded guilty in July to possession of a firearm, possession while prohibited, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was charged on 24 February and sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on 12 October.
