Feltham Man Jailed for Rape, Voyeurism and Theft After Kingston Nightclub Attack
Taulant Krasniqi, 25, from Cottingham Road, Feltham, has been handed a hefty prison sentence at Kingston Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to rape, voyeurism, and theft from an incident that rocked a Kingston nightclub in November 2017.
Night Out Turns Nightmare for Young Woman
On the morning of Sunday, 12 November 2017, Krasniqi approached a woman in her 20s on the dancefloor. The victim later went home with him but fell asleep in her bedroom. She briefly awoke to see Krasniqi sitting at the foot of her bed, phone in hand—then he vanished.
Later, a friend alerted her to a disturbing Snapchat video showing the woman naked in bed and an empty condom wrapper. Shocked, she called the police. She had never given consent for sexual activity.
Chilling Evidence from Krasniqi’s Own Phone
Krasniqi was arrested and claimed the sex was consensual. But police seized his phone, uncovering videos of him having sex with the woman — clearly showing her unresponsive and unable to consent.
Worse still, messages on his phone revealed he bragged to friends about stealing personal items from her room, including an Oyster Card and iPod.
Detective Inspector Condemns Krasniqi’s ‘Truly Abhorrent’ Actions
“Krasniqi knew the woman was in no position to consent yet he took advantage and raped her,” said Detective Inspector Julian Crabb.
“He filmed her without consent and shared the videos on social media. His behaviour is truly abhorrent. I’m pleased he received a lengthy prison term reflecting the severity of his crimes.”
“I commend the victim’s immense courage in reporting this crime. Thanks also to PC Sheena Woodward, whose tireless work helped secure justice.”
Anyone victimised by sexual offences is offered specialist support by police. Krasniqi’s sentence sends a stark warning: this vile behaviour won’t be tolerated.
