Sexual Predator Michael Chand Jailed for Horrific Abuse
Michael Chand, 46, has been found guilty of three counts of rape and one count of assault after a trial at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, 16 February.

Chand lured the victim to his home in Acacia Gardens, N22, just days after they met, under the guise of friendship. When she didn’t find him attractive, he flew into a rage, verbally abusing her and refusing to let her leave.
Brave Victim Speaks Out
“Chand is a sexual predator who subjected the victim in this case to horrendous sexual and physical abuse,” said the Crown Prosecution.
“The victim showed incredible bravery by coming forward to police despite the trauma.”
Chand was swiftly arrested and taken into custody before being formally charged. Justice has finally caught up with this dangerous offender.
