Southampton Teen Busted with Nearly £5K of Class A Drugs
Shiraz Ahmadzai Caught Red-Handed
Shiraz Ahmadzai, 19, from Cobden Avenue, Southampton, was locked up today at Southampton Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs — cocaine, crack cocaine, and heroin.
Foiled Drug Toss Over Garden Fence
On 7 January, cops swarmed a Northam Road address. An officer spotted a man sneak out the back door, chucking a suspicious package over a neighbour’s fence before slipping back inside.
£4,980 Worth of Class A Seized
The package was found in the neighbour’s garden, split into three smaller bundles. Tests confirmed it held cocaine, crack cocaine, and heroin with a combined street value of £4,980.
Three and a Half Years Behind Bars
Ahmadzai was charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply. He pleaded guilty earlier this year at Salisbury Crown Court. Today, Southampton Crown Court sentenced him to three years and six months in prison.
