County Lines Crackdown: Crack and Heroin Dealer Locked Up
A county lines drug dealer running a heroin and crack cocaine operation between London and Oxford has been slapped with a hefty jail term. Damion Williams, 28, from Ilford, has been sentenced to five years and six months behind bars.
Police Smash Notorious Marlow Line
Williams pled guilty at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (8 November) to supplying crack cocaine and heroin. The case came after Thames Valley Police raided his Mayfield Road home on 25 May 2022, targeting the infamous Marlow Line.

During the raid, officers seized two mobile phones. One was used to run the active drug line selling crack and heroin. The other coordinated drug runners in Oxford.
Williams was arrested on the spot, charged the same day, and kept in custody until sentencing.
Detective Warns County Lines Dealers
“Williams admitted he played a leading role in pushing drugs through the Marlow Line,” said Detective Constable Ben Jones of the Drugs Focus Taskforce. “I hope his conviction sends a clear message — if you’re involved in county lines drug dealing, we will investigate, track you down, and bring you to justice.”
County Lines: A Growing Threat
The Marlow Line is one of thousands of county lines operations where city gangs exploit vulnerable people to move and sell drugs in smaller towns. The National Crime Agency reports over 2,000 active lines across the UK — a serious blow to communities nationwide.
