Police were called to Stockwell Road at 2:50pm on 15 September 2020 after the London Ambulance Service found Jaden suffering from multiple knife wounds. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, he died at the scene.

Family Pay Heartbreaking Tribute to Bright Young Star

“Jaden was an amazing and intelligent soul with so much life and passion to give,” said a family spokesperson.

“He was a victim of a senseless killer who viciously ended his hopes and dreams. Our family has been shattered, grief-stricken and disheartened by this brutal attack.”

“Jaden wasn’t in a gang. In fact, he was anti-gangs and feared the violence they bring.”

“He had just started a new Deliveroo job two days before his death and was accepted onto a construction course the very day he died. He dreamed of owning a clothing line.”

“Jaden was the life and soul, full of positivity. His young, vibrant life was cruelly cut short before he could enjoy his future or start a family. He’ll be in our hearts forever, but nothing replaces having him here with us.”

Detective: ‘Vicious Attack Leaves Family Devastated’

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood said: “This tragic case is another heart-breaking example of young lives lost to knife crime.”

“Jaden was chased and stabbed 12 times in a brutal attack. Despite a thorough probe, we don’t yet know why Koutouan targeted him.”

“Koutouan’s claims of self-defence were loudly rejected by the jury, compounding the grief for Jaden’s family.”

“I want to commend Jaden’s family for their resilience through a difficult court process. We hope today’s verdict brings them some comfort.”
