Tragic Scrambler Crash Kills Man in London

Police were called to the junction of Gladeside and Woodmere Avenue at 6.12pm on Saturday, June 26, after a scrambler-style motorbike smashed into a silver Volkswagen Touran.

Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

Officers, London Ambulance Service paramedics, and the London Air Ambulance arrived quickly. The 42-year-old bike rider suffered a severe head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene just before 6.45pm despite frantic life-saving attempts.

Family Informed, Driver Cooperating

The rider’s family has been notified and is receiving specialist support. The Volkswagen driver stayed at the scene and has spoken with police. No arrests have been made.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Officers are investigating the fatal collision and urge anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage from nearby to get in touch.
