Man Slashed After Wild Night Out

Warsame Ibrahim, 27, from Sheffield, has been arrested and charged over a shocking stabbing at a party. The victim, a 29-year-old man, remains in hospital fighting for his life after the attack on 11 May.

Crime Scene Horror on Fox Hill Road

Police were alerted just before 8am when a man was found collapsed on Fox Hill Road, Wadsley Bridge. Investigations revealed the stabbing happened earlier at a party on Edge Well Way following a night out.

Bloodied Evidence Found at the Scene

A search of the property uncovered two blood-stained sofa cushion covers in a washing machine. Officers also seized two knives and a large Rambo-style blade hidden beneath the sofa.

Detective Constable Arron Connolly, Sheffield CID, said: “Ibrahim has been brought to justice for his actions and is now behind bars for what was a ferocious attack that could have left a man dead. Our message to those intent on carrying and using knives is clear – drop the knife before you do irreparable damage.”
