Police Hunt Tagger Behind £10K ‘EAZE’ Graffiti Spree Across Andover
Police are on the hunt for a vandal who’s been spraying the tag ‘EAZE’ all over Andover. The graffiti has caused serious damage and triggered a costly clean-up operation.
‘EAZE’ Tag Hits Bridge Street First
The first sighting of the notorious tag was spotted on September 27, 2019, behind the Photos 2 Print shop on Bridge Street. Since then, the same tag has popped up everywhere — from bridges and underpasses to bus stops and utility boxes.
£10,000 Cleanup Bill and Counting
- Hampshire Highways have had to scrub the tag off several bridges and underpasses.
- Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) repeatedly removed graffiti from car park pay booths, bus stops, litter bins, and more.
- Housing association Aster and private landlords have tackled spray paint on numerous properties.
The ongoing vandalism has racked up a clean-up bill topping £10,000 — and it’s not slowing down.
Police Appeal for Information
Authorities have released an image of a man they want to speak to about the Bridge Street incident. He could hold the key to cracking the case.
